Acceptance of each other is the key to connection for any relationship, especially mothers and daughters and personal work underlies any partnership.
Each Circle we’ll practice communication and trust skills. You’ll be offered refreshments and we’ll have FUN as you enjoy time with your loved one!
Monthly Mother Daughter Circle for ages 9-109, come as a pair or solo! We'll discuss the deeper meanings in the Fairy Tale Sleeping Beauty, and discuss where we've seen this story show up in modern novels! The story is a lot more than a princess waiting to be awakened by a prince! (example of my offerings)
Sign Up and Be the First to: Read New Blog Posts, Discover YA and MG books I recommend, Hear About My Upcoming Book Releases, Book Club Happenings, Circles, and More!
Would you like to see your school or youth club or yoga studio or yoga studio offer a Circle? Tell me about it! I'll contact them with information.
Want to host a Circle for your friends? Let me know! We'll pick out the right theme for you and Hosts get Discounts!
I look forward to sharing the sense of Community and Belonging created through Circles!

As a mother, I understand the need to connect with other women who are moms or who have wisdom to share, as well as connect with our daughters and bring them into our fold of feminine mystery. The need for joy, tears, and understanding are addressed through nurturing stories and all that gathering in feminine spirit can bring.
Trained through
One Circle Foundation
Following fairy tales from many cultures, we will explore honoring self care, respecting changing bodies, claiming self worth, listening intuitively, speaking truth. These pathways through life guide girls into being empowered women.
Certified through
Journey of Young Women.

Join me in the first of 12 monthly Circles based on my research and self discovery during the writing of my Celtic Magic series! Through this learning I'm creating a Heroine's Journal that can be used both as a guide for Circles and as a personal journal (to be published in Summer 2024.) I'm so excited to share this time of Creating the prompts and activities for this Heroine's Journal with all of you!
This journey begins with such questions as who am I? Who are my ancestors? Where did they come from? Sometimes we know a lot and sometimes we find out we know very little, so we'll explore our Ancestral Roots! We'll Look to the Past to connect with the rituals they created, stories they told, lands they inhabited, music they made. (For some of us, none of those topics are past tense. For others of us, our families have traveled to new lands and we aren't aware of any of the rituals or songs of our ancestors.) We'll follow both our Father Line and our Mother Line to create true Family Trees that reflect our many-faceted backgrounds. 🌳 And there's more!
As the year turns and the moons pass, we'll Look Beyond the Veil to learn about the ways our ancestors viewed death, what ways the dead are honored then and today, and how dying happens in Nature. The third part of the series will have us Looking Within in the Spiral Dance of Shadows. Without Dark there is not Light, and Light always travels with Shadows in tow. Finally, we'll Look Forward into the Future, Our Future and find the ways we can Act that will bring us and our Loved Ones Hope. Sign up for this first Circle and we'll start off our own Heroine's Journey by Orienting ourselves to the Moon as we see how our LifeCycle Phases follow the MoonCycle Phases. 🌙 This first In Person Circle will be August 31st (look for an Online option offered September 5th, if you prefer.) Join one session or all twelve sessions. Each topic will be posted ahead of time. Perhaps you'll discover something new about YOU! Invite a Sister, Bring a Daughter, Come Solo. In Circle we're never Alone, though we may share as much or as little as we are comfortable with.
🧡💖 Open to anyone identifying as a woman. 💝💜

We'll consider the stories that we think make up the answers to "Who Am I?" and contemplate what our names mean to us.
Thus begins our Heroine's Journey chronicled in our Journals.

We'll connect with the rituals and songs and art and stories of our ancestors. We'll tune into what our ancestors were doing long ago and how we can bring this into our lives today. Perhaps you already do.
